Directorate Change
Further to the announcement on 28 June, Ashtead today confirms that George Burnett, 60, is to retire and will leave the board on 31 December 2006.
George is succeeded as Chief Executive by Geoff Drabble, who was appointed Chief Executive designate from 2 October 2006.
