Sustainability remains a priority for the Group and is embedded within our core strategic actionable components. We believe renting equipment, rather than owning it, brings inherent environmental benefits. For Ashtead, sustainability is broader than the environment. It also encompasses a focus on our people and the communities where we operate. We are committed to the long-term sustainable success of the Group for the benefit of all our stakeholders, and this is reinforced by our latest strategic plan, Sunbelt 4.0. This sustainability report provides our stakeholders with insights into our sustainability-related activities, targets and performance across four priority areas: operations; customers; people; and communities.

This report covers the period from 1 May 2024 to 30 April 2025, as well as providing some narrative on ongoing activities. Data included represents Ashtead Group plc and its subsidiaries unless stated otherwise. This report should be read in conjunction with the disclosures provided within our Annual Report & Accounts 2025, which includes our disclosures in accordance with the standards and recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Disclosures.
